Entry-level certification
The lowest level of certification is the Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT), which covers the basic knowledge of networking. Until its introduction, is the first level of the program of CCNA certification. It is suitable for a position of entry-level network support. CCENT Certification is obtained by passing the Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 (ICND1) exam (640-822).In 2013, he introduced new ICND1 and ICND2 exams (required for the new CCNA Routing and Switching). It is required to test the new CCENT ICND1: 100-101 (Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1 v2.0). With this change, CCENT has become a prerequisite enough for CCNA, CCNA Voice and CCNA Wireless.
